Now that ice is found on mars, it's clear that we Martians knew our planet was doomed, so we escaped to green lush Earth in the past so we could go ahead and destroy it on our own terms. Okay I obviously sound insane, I guess I shouldn't say it out loud. But for what it's worth, I have friends who are equally crazy to think this is valid (I'll withhold names here)

that? This is the stuff of science fiction. I start thinking about what kind of alien bugs the lander might be bringing back, and my imagination goes AWOL. I suppose the organisms can't be too complex given the ice just turns to gas, but still...
